Good Sunday afternoon everyone
Has anyone been bombarded with emails about shops re-opening?

Closed

I opened my email a while ago to so many emails about shops re-opening, 2 garden centres that were closed round my way, next, debenhams, m&S, john lewis, smyths, and a few others, they were explaining to me how and when they will be opening and what safety measures they have in place. I will admit of not bothering to open some of them as i wont be returning just yet.
I do however have to go out at some point as i have a 40th birthday, an 18th birthday and a new baby card and pressies to buy. Not sure when ill go out yet but it will have to be before the end of April
Is anyone a little anxious about venturing out this time?

No I haven’t been bombarded with emails but our shops don’t open until later in the month in Scotland.

I haven't had a single one, but I don't have any store cards aside from Pets at Home, Watermarque and Iceland. I hate shopping for clothes so much that I don't do it until mine are falling apart.

Only in the sense that there will be more people, and people are already getting too close for comfort. I'm not great with crowds, I get easily overwhelmed, especially these days.

Good evening Lady Sue ~ I've no plans to go to the shops just yet ~ my weekly visit to Sainsbury's on a Monday evening is the highlight of my shopping right now !
Thankfully I've not received any emails from shops, etc. as my email address is on a "preference" list to avoid such things !

No because I opt out of all marketing and woe betide the ones with whom I have a loyalty card or online account that send me any email notifications.

I haven't received any emails because the only shops that have my email address are supermarkets that are already open. I feel empathy for whoever has their 18th birthday party during the pandemic- mine was during the first lockdown and all our plans were cancelled.
